微信新增聲紋辨識 MEMS麥克風商機再起

大陸手機應用平台微信（WeChat）最新統計，微信月平均慣用戶數已達到5.49億用戶，其中慣用行動支付功能的「微信支付」用戶也已有4億之多，為了提高資安、保密功能，微信新增聲紋辨識，也帶動了微機電（MEMS）麥克風有新一波的商機。
事實上，手機大廠摩托羅拉自2004年即採用微機電麥克風技術用於Motorola V系列手機，此技術從此開始逐步取代傳統駐極式麥克風。後來，蘋果在2010年所推出的iPhone 4S是採用兩個微機電麥克風以降低背景噪音，達到更佳通話品質，更在2012年的iPhone5上新增到3顆微機電麥克風，透過背部使用第3個麥克風來降噪，不但增強其語音辨識的功能，也成為高階手機業界標準，後來的iPhone 6及6Plus也皆是如此。
現在大陸的中低價位智慧型手機也為了因應行動支付趨勢，強化其語音辨識功能而增加微機電麥克風的使用量。甚至有些入門級低價位的手機廠為因應成本問題，是透過耳機麥克風等周邊配件補強手機本身語音辨識功能不夠快、不夠精準的缺憾，因此耳機麥克風也成了微機電麥克風的新市場。整體來看，微機電麥克風的需求量仍持續成長。
據研調機構IHS報告指出，全球微機電麥克風市場在2014年首次超過10億美元的規模，其年成長率約24.3％，預料未來仍將持續成長，5年的年複合成長率為18％。Yole Dveloppement則預估到2019年將可達到16.51億美元的規格。
IC設計業內估計，微機電麥克風在手機市場已進入強調價格、高性價比的時代，而目前在微機電麥克風市占第一的樓式電子則恐怕很難抵擋市場被分食的壓力。
